This episode of Family Guy is a parody of Taken with Peter Griffin as Liam Neeson and Meg as his daughter. It’s funny because I’ve seen that movie before. Except that instead of Peter tracking her down, it’s up to Brian and Stewie which makes it much better because I love Brian and Stewie episodes. Stewie has assumed the role of Liam Neeson now. Brian’s just raiding the fridge.

Just thought the internet would be interested in that.

I’d feel better if I knew Dan had like almost no input for the past season and that the people who were in charge of season 3 were still in charge of season 4. But apparently the people in charge now wrote.. Just Shoot Me? Seriously? That’s the best we could get? I mean, I liked JSM back then, but it’s a typical laugh-track sitcom. It’s basically Big Bang Theory or Two and a Half Men. Community is a “new world” sitcom. Single camera, no audience or laugh track, no pausing for laughter, rapid-fire jokes, background jokes, it’s basically Arrested Development which is why people love it.

Part of me wishes it had been cancelled to save it from a terrible final season. I’d rest easy knowing the Finality episode we got was a good enough closer. But now I don’t know. Oh, sure, yes, I will watch next season. But if everyone’s going to be all depressed and half-ass the show it’s not going to be enjoyable anymore. I mean Chevy fighting with Harmon was enough. Now I hear Donald doesn’t even like it anymore. I wish they’d ended it on a high note now so the actors can all go off and do what they want. Now it seems all the people involved with the show through season 3 left because NBC couldn’t make up their minds about renewing the damn thing. Which is really our fault because it sure as hell would have been canned if there hadn’t been an internet campaign to save it. So we might have just screwed ourselves.

Obviously the dust isn’t settled yet and things change as facts become more available from all corners, but for now it’s just a bit confusing.

It’s going to end up with “Introduction to Finality” being the core fans “Series Finale” the same way “Goodbye Michael” can be considered a good enough Office finale for the people who didn’t want it continuing without Michael. The other episodes will still exist, but you don’t can pretend they don’t. Or like Scrubs when it went to Interns.

This is why we can’t have nice things. We got a great 71 episodes out of this so far. And with season 4, we’ll have enough to syndicate the show. Let’s hope we can get 13 good episodes with the actors doing their best and end it there. Six seasons and a movie. Nah, 4 seasons and a nice closer would be enough for me at this point.

This is a lot to take in all at once. Last night we had an amazing 3-episode season end. It was like awesome overload. Then we get this news, even though rumors had circulated. Plus Chevy and Harmon fighting. Donald wanting to concentrate on rapping. The finale was written like a series ender that didn’t lock the doors. That much is obvious. I’m going to be sad when the DVD’s come out and there’s possibly no Dan Harmon Cast Evaluations feature.

At this point it’s not even the writing. If the actors can’t make it entertaining, why watch?

Plus The Office losing so many people. 30 Rock is running out of steam. At least we have Parks and Rec still fresh. Next season of TV is going to be pretty dark for the fans.

Why do I even follow Parallels on Twitter and Facebook? Every tweet is them telling me how much better they are than VMWare. I already own the software. Why do I need to read reviews in your favor?

So as of 9PM I am banned from the one website I thought I could call my home.

Earlier today I made a mistake. A horrible mistake when I supposedly encouraged someone to do something terrible enough to brand me a “despicable piece of shit” who will “hopefully remain forever alone”. Harsh words indeed. What could being such harsh words down upon a person with the force of a thousand suns? I encouraged “someone to distribute explicit pics/videos of his ex-gf on the internet in order to make him feel better about himself.”

A forum member posted a question in an unrelated thread for computer troubleshooting about deleting photos and videos from iPhoto. The photos and videos in question were of a sexual nature. Long story short I decided to go to the other topic where this was being discussed and proceeded to tell the poster that if it were me, I would have “uploaded them to porn sites in the heat of the moment” as soon as we broke up. Which is really something I have never done, and actually don’t know if I would if I were in that situation. But of course now everyone thinks I’m the worst person in the world. And I am. If I were to do what I said I’d do, I would be the worst person in the world.

I had posted a reply explaining that I would have done it “in the moment” but I guess that wasn’t really enough. How can I explain it? It’s impulse. A lot of people, when they break up, do things they regret later. This would be one of them. Some people do do this. However, I do not know for a fact that I am one of those people. I coudn’t know unless I were actually in that situation.

I regret posting that. I regret everything. I apologize to everyone in that thread and hope they can forgive me.

Not that it matters since I have been perma-banned from NeoGAF forever. Perma means forever. So it is a forever ban. I can’t really imagine life without NeoGAF. What will happen tomorrow when I wake up my computer and try to access the site only to be reminded of my mistake?

I just wish someone could tell the people in that thread that I am sorry. I don’t want to hurt anyone. I never want to hurt anyone. I talk big, but really that’s all I do.

I understand this post could potentially turn other people against me too, and I accept that.

I am sincerely sorry for what I have said. And that’s really all I can say.
